Racine Christmas Bird Count - Saturday, December 18, 2021

The Christmas Bird Count (CBC), in its upcoming 122nd year nationwide, has become a valuable method to monitor the winter range and numbers of early winter bird populations throughout the decades.  More information at www.christmasbirdcount.org.

Join the Hoy Audubon Society on foot and by vehicle for part of or the whole day as we count all birds we find in various habitats in eastern Racine County.

Home feeder watchers located within the count circles are also welcome to participate. Include your name, address, the species and number of each seen, the date and time, and the duration of time spent actively watching on the count day.

To sign up or for more information, contact Eric Howe at prior to the count date.
